macOS says the app can’t be opened?

macOS may block Kapshot because it isn’t notarized yet. After moving Kapshot to your Applications folder, either:

  1. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway to launch it.
  2. Or run this in Terminal:
    xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Kapshot.app"
